Details
Stage two of the EZ-Twist system, the pre-carbon pod. Compressed activated carbon absorbs chlorine, organic contaminants and pharmaceutical pollutants, and takes out the odor and flat, chemical taste that chlorine leaves behind.

When to replace
Change every 6 months. Go sooner if your water is hard or heavily sedimented, or the machine runs all day — a drop in flow is usually the first sign.
